We have these for breakfast regularly, and are great if you're in a rush (get that travel mug ready). It should keep you going all day, but it's quite filling so you might not want to have it right before a workout. Amounts are approximate, and this is great with any kind of fruit. Ingredients:
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt |
1 banana, peeled and broken into pieces |
24 frozen blueberries |
1 cup vanilla-flavored almond milk or 1 cup vanilla-flavored soymilk |
1/3 cup rolled oats |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until it all turns blueish purple. 2. Pour into a large glass. Enjoy! |
