A different type of BLT. Ingredients:
1 pkg.bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled |
1 c. shredded mozzaralla cheese |
1/2 c. biscuit mix |
1/3 c. mayo |
3/4 c. milk |
2 eggs |
2 tbs.mayo |
1 c. shredded lettuce |
6 slices tomato |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400°F. 2. Spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. 3. Layer bacon and cheese in pie plate. 4. In medium bowl, stir biscuit mix, 1/3 cup mayo, the milk and eggs with wire whisk until blended. 5. Pour into pie plate. 6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. 7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. 8. Spread 2 tablespoons mayo over top of pie. 9. Sprinkle with lettuce. 10. Place tomato slices on lettuce. |
