Blt Pasta Shells For One Or Two |

A meal for one or a side salad for two. Prep time does not include chill time. Ingredients:
1/2 cup medium shell shaped pasta, uncooked |
3 tbs. mayonnaise |
3 tsp. chili sauce |
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice |
1/2 tsp. sugar |
1/8 tsp. (or less) horseradish |
1 plum tomato, seeded and chopped |
2 tbs. chopped red onion or scallion |
1 cup torn iceberg lettuce |
2 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chili sauce, lemon juice, sugar and horseradish. 2. Stir in the macaroni, tomato and onion. 3. Refrigerate until chilled. 4. Put the lettuce in a bowl and pour salad over top. Sprinkle with bacon. |
