BLT Croissandwich

These mini sandwiches are great for get-ogethers.
Ingredients:
24 miniature croissants
1/2 cup mayonnaise
12 lettuce leaves, halved
12 slices bacon
2 medium tomatoes
Directions:
1. Cook bacon until browned and crisp.
2. Drain on a paper towel and set aside.
3. When bacon cools, break strips in half.
4. Slice each tomato into 6 thin slices.
5. then cut each slice in half.
6. Butterfly each croissant.
7. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on each croissant half.
8. Place 1/2 lettuce leaf on one side of each croissant.
9. Place 1/2 slice of tomato on top of the lettuce.
10. Top tomato with 1/2 strip of crisp bacon and close croissant.
11. Serve on a platter.
12. For potlucks, I wrap each croissant in plastic wrap or in a sandwich bag.
