These are fantastic. My fav! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup english toffee bits or 1 cup almond brickle chips |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. 2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. 3. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. 4. Srit in toffee bits. 5. Spread evenly into a greased 13 X 9 X 2-in pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. 7. Cool on wore rack. 8. Cut into bars. 9. ENJOY! |
