From 1001 Slow Cooker Recipes. This uses lots of canned beans. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
2 cups kidney beans (drained and rinsed) |
2 cups black beans (drained and rinsed) |
2 cups cannellini beans (drained and rinsed) |
2 cups chopped onions |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 bay leaf |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. 2. Combine beef and remaining ingredients, except salt and pepper, in slow cooker; cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. 3. Discard bay leaf and season to taste with salt and pepper. |
