A terrific appetizer or party dish. This is so good. I got this great recipe from Robert's Creekside Cafe in Sedona, AZ. Prep time includes letting the dough rise for 45 minutes. Ingredients:
19 ounces pre-made pizza dough |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup chopped parsley |
1/4 lb butter |
1/4 cup olive oil |
3 ounces blue cheese |
3 ounces shredded parmesan cheese |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle. 2. Coat entire surface with mayonnaise. 3. Sprinkle with bleu cheese on all 4 sides. 4. Mix together parsley and parmesan cheese. 5. Sprinkle entire surface of the pizza roll with parsley/parmesan mixture. 6. Sprinkle top with paprika. 7. Roll pizza dough into a circular tube. 8. Cut dough tube into 12 rolls about 3/4 wide. 9. Place rolls on cookie sheet and let rise for 45 minutes. 10. Bake rolls at 350° F for 8 to 10 minutes. 11. While rolls are baking, prepare olive oil mixture for the tops. 12. Melt butter; add olive oil and minced garlic. 13. Simmer for 5 minutes. 14. Remove rolls from oven. 15. Brush tops of rolls with olive oil mixture. |
