I got this recipe from . My husband loves bleu cheese, so he loves this recipe. We multiply the recipe and freeze it in family size portions. Ingredients:
8 chicken breasts |
salt |
pepper |
oil |
2 pints sour cream |
1 lb blue cheese (or roquefort) |
4 garlic cloves |
Directions:
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and brown in oil in skillet over medium heat. 2. In a bowl combine reminaing ingredients. 3. Divide chicken breasts into two feezer containers and then pour half of sauce in each container. Cool and freeze. 4. On cooking day: Defrost and place chicken in casserole dish. 5. Bake in 350F preheated oven for 45 minutes or until cooked through. |
