The strong pungent flavor of bleu and the heat of chilies work well together. You can alter the flavors to your taste or courage! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter cracker crumbs |
1 pound philly cream cheese, softened |
1tea. lime juice |
2 large eggs |
1/2 tea. chili powder |
1/4 tea. cayenne pepper |
1/4 tea. black pepper |
1/4 tea. cinnamon |
1 cup bleu cheese(strong flavor), crumbled |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325^. 2. Spray 6 spring-pan with cooking spray. 3. Swirl crumbs evenly on sides and bottom of pan. 4. Blend cream cheese and lime juice until smooth. 5. Add eggs one at a time. 6. Add chili powder, cayenne, black pepper, and cinnamon. 7. Mix thoroughly. 8. Fold in bleu cheese. 9. Pour into prepared pan. 10. Bake at 325^ for 45-55 minutes, 11. Let cool and serve at room temp. with bread or crackers. |
