I first made this as a sauce to drizzle over chicken roulade, but there's no reason it can't be used with pasta, or anything else. Measurements are approximations and should be adjusted according to individual taste. Ingredients:
1/2 lb blue cheese |
1/2 cup unsalted butter |
1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter over medium low heat. 2. As butter is melting add crumbled bleu cheese, stirring constantly. 3. Once cheese is melted slowly stir in cream. 4. After ingredients are warm & fully combined, remove from heat and add to pasta. |
