The bleu cheese makes this Caesar a bit different. Ingredients:
1 head of romaine lettuce |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1/2 cup bleu cheese, crumbled |
4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled |
2 cups croutons |
dressing |
1 clove of garlic, halved |
1 tsp. dry mustard |
1/4 tsp. salt |
1/8 tsp. pepper |
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup wine vinegar or lemon juice |
1/3 cup salad oil |
1 egg coddled |
Directions:
1. Combine finely chopped garlic, mustard, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, oil and egg in shaker jar and shake to combine. Tear lettuce into bite size pieces into bowl. Pour dressing over lettuce and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan, bleu cheese, bacon and croutons and toss again. Serve immediately. |
