Blender Hollandaise Sauce With Garlic |

I found this recipe in an old cookbook and have used it for years. Recently I added the garlic to make it even better. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
3 egg yolks |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon crushed garlic |
Directions:
1. Melt butter until very hot, but not browned. 2. In a blender at high speed blend egg yolks, lemon juice, salt, cayenne and garlic until yolks are frothy. 3. Turn blender to low speed and slowly pour in hot butter in a steady stream. 4. Blend around 15 seconds until the sauce is creamy. |
