This is a grat combo of ingredients to satisfy the seafood cravings... Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese |
1 stick butter |
1 pound shrimp, peeled |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 bell pepper, chopped |
2 ribs celery, chopped |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 tablespoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper |
1 pint crabmeat |
1 1/2 cups cooked rice |
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
cracker crumbs |
Directions:
1. Melt cream cheese and butter using a double boiler. 2. Saute shrimp, onions, celery, and pepper in 2 tablespoons butter. 3. Add to cream cheese mixture. 4. Add soup, seasonings, crabmeat, and rice. 5. Mix well and place in a 2 quart casserole. 6. Top with cheese and cracker crumbs. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly. |
