Creamy, healthy and delicious! A classic smoothie from the BlackCat13 restaurant in Saigon, this guarantees to please. it combines the complimentary flavors of mango and banana which each lend not only flavor but their own style of smoothness to the drink. prepared fresh and with high-quality ingredients, it's sure to please. And the best part is that if you use fully-ripe mango and banana, NO simple syrup is even necessary!
Ingredients:
150 g fresh mango, peeled and sliced
75 g bananas
50 g yogurt, non sweetened
100 ml milk
40 ml simple syrup (sugar-water, not needed if using ripe fruit!)
150 g crushed ice
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed for 15 to 20 seconds.
2. Check smoothie to ensure it has consistancy and taste that you desire.
3. Pour into a tall chilled glass and insert a wide-gauge straw.
4. Take smoothie to a comfortable chair; sit back and enjoy. Ahhhhh - mango.
