Around here when you say blackberry we aren't talking about any kind of little electronic gadget. This dessert is really good. I just hope the drought we are having doesn't get all the yummy blackberries. Ingredients:
3/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats |
3/4 c. packed brown sugar |
1/4 c. all purpose flour |
1/4 tsp. salt |
2 tbs. butter |
1 qt. fresh blackberries |
4 tbs. sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt. 3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 4. Set aside. 5. Place berries in a medium sized baking dish. 6. Sprinkle with sugar. 7. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top. 8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. 9. Serve warm with ice cream. |
