I have a sweet tooth and memories of picking wild blackberries in the summer so mom could make this. Don't forget the vanilla ice cream on top of the warm cobbler! And ANYONE can do this recipe! It is so simple and if you have the berries and stuff on hand it’s a great last minute drop in dinner quest dessert! Ingredients:
8 tablespoons butter |
1 cup self rising flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup milk |
2 quarts washed blackberries |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, flour, sugar and milk with beaters. 2. Place in bottom of a 9x9 pan; top with berries. 3. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. |
