This is a very quickly made dessert you will come to rely on in times of emergency. This is nice served with a scoop of ice cream. Recipe comes from a Phoenix community cookbook. Ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 quart blackberry |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Have ready a 9-inch square baking pan. 2. Mix the flour, sugar, milk and butter in a prepared baking dish. Gently stir in blackberries. 3. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. |
