Blackberry Banana Walnut Muffins

A yummy berry banana muffin made with partial whole wheat flour. Great for breakfast!
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 large eggs
3-4 bananas mashed
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons almond extract
1 1/2 cups ap flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup nuts
1 cup blackberries
2 tablespoons firm butter
1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Mix butter and brown sugar well with wooden spoon.
2. Add eggs, mix well.
3. Add buttermilk, extract and bananas, mix well.
4. Stir together the first two flours, salt, baking soda with whisk.
5. Add dry mixture to wet, stir until incorporated.
6. Stir in berries and nuts.
7. Mix 2 Tablespoons firm butter, 1/4 cup flour, 2 Tablspoons brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon til crumbly.
8. Fill lined muffin cups 3/4 full and top with streusal.
9. Bake aboiut 20 minutes until done.
