Black spot fungus can kill your rose plants overnight. But it's easy to fix with this recipe. From Jerry Baker's book Backyard Problem Solver. The recipe says tomatoes, leaves-it calls for tomato leaves. Ingredients:
15 leaves tomatoes |
2 small onions |
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol |
Directions:
1. Chop the tomato leaves and onions into finely minced pieces. Steep them in the alcohol overnight.
2. Paint the mix on both the tops and bottoms of any infected rose leaves.
