A beautiful shake to start your day. No soy, nor dairy, and the taste is creamy goodness that will sustain you all morning. Sesame seeds are a great source of calcium. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons raw black sesame tahini |
1 cup raw cashews or 1 cup walnuts |
1/2 cup organic pitted dates (i prefer khadrawy for their creamy, caramel-like texture) |
1 teaspoon vanilla (real and preferable organic) |
3 cups water |
1 cup ice |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients but the ice in a blender until smooth. Add the ice and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. This keeps in the fridge for 4 days. |
