Black Pepper Prawn Stir Fry |

The spicy pepper blends well with the sweet prawn . Goes well with steamed rice as a side . Ingredients:
18 prawns , deshelled |
2 tsp black pepper and cumin pwd |
1 tsp tumeric pwd |
1/2 onion sliced |
1 small tomato sliced |
pinch of salt |
sprig of curry leaves |
1 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste |
2 tsp black soysauce |
1 to 2 tsp black pepper cumin pwd |
salt ( optional ) |
Directions:
1. Rub the pwds with the prawns and set aside . 2. In a wok , fry the onion , curry leaves with the paste and salt . 3. Add the tomato slices . 4. Once it softens , add the prawns and stir fry on high heat until the colour changes . 5. Add 1 tbsp water and continue to stir fry . 6. Cover the lid for 3 to 5 mins on low heat . 7. Add the soy sauce and the pwd . 8. Check the salt . 9. Serve . |
