Quick and easy appetizer for entertaining Ingredients:
9 ounces black olives, with pits to ensure more flavor |
1 garlic clove |
6 anchovy fillets |
salt |
fresh ground black pepper |
extra virgin olive oil |
1 lemon, juice of |
Directions:
1. Pit the olives by squeezing or smashing them and removing the pit. 2. Place the olives, garlic, anchovies in a small food processor until mixture is smooth. 3. Add salt and fresh ground pepper, and correct any seasoning. 4. Add olive oil to loosen. 5. Add lemon juice to taste. |
