A nice warm cabbage dish with a slightly different take. Hope you like it Ingredients:
small cabbage sliced very thin |
1 celery root sliced thin and frenched |
2 carrots scrubbed and use veggie peeler to shave |
1 to 1 1/2 cups pancetta cut in small pieces |
1-2 cups heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Blanche savoy cabbage celeraic and carrots 2. drain , put in ice bath , remove drain and refrigerate 3. saute the pancetta or bacon 4. add cabbage mixture 5. flavor 6. saute lightly 7. add heavy cream 8. mix and serve hot, sort of mounded` 9. sprinkling extra crispy pancetta on top |
