I got this recipe from a very dear friend. This absolutely the very best chocolate cake ever. It is also good with a Butter Frosting. This cake is so moist and dark because of the coffee. It is so easy because you dump everything in a bowl and lastly put in the coffee and it is ready to bake. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
3/4 cup cocoa |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 pinch salt |
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 cup boiling hot coffee |
Directions:
1. Put everything into a mixing bowl EXCEPT the hot coffee; beat well. 2. Add the hot coffee and mix. 3. Put into a 9x13 greased pan or layer pans. 4. Bake 375 degree oven for about 25-30 minutes or till done. 5. Frost when cool. |
