16 oreo cookies, coarsely chopped (about 2 cups) |
2/3 cup toasted slivered almonds, coarsely chopped |
3 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 (21 ounce) cans cherry pie filling |
1 quart vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Mix cookie crumbs, almonds and butter until well blended; set aside. 3. Spoon pie filling into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan; top with the crumb mixture. 4. Bake 30 minutes or until pie filling is hot and bubbly and topping is lightly browned; cool. 5. Top each serving with 1/3 cup of the ice cream. |
