These cookies come from the coop magazine also. How great to have gotten a whole meal with cranberries in it. From meats to desserts! I'm lovin it. Ingredients:
12 ounces milk chocolate chips |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
2 large eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
6 ounces sweetened dried cranberries |
1 cup pecans or walnuts, coarsley chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Pour 3/4 cup chocolate chips into an uncovered large microwave-safe bpwl. 3. Set remaining chips aside. 4. Microwave chips for 2 minutes on high. 5. Stir until chocolate is smooth. 6. Stir in brown sugar, butter , eggs and vanilla. 7. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until thoroughly combined. 8. Stir in remaining chips, sweetened dried cranberries, and nuts of choice. 9. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. 10. Bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are set. 11. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. |
