This is another wonderful easy cake to make. It is so delicious and so darned easy a kid can make it.
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 box french vanilla instant pudding
3 eggs beaten
1 tablespoon almond extract
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
glaze
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Directions:
1. In a large bowl mix all ingredients just till every thing is moist but not over mixed. Pour into a well buttered bunt pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Allow cake to cool in pan. When cool enough to comfortably handle, turn out on a cake plate. Allow to cool completely. Place chocolate chips, milk and butter in a bowl and microwave 1 min. Stir till every thing is melted. Add powdered sugar. Spoon over cake and allow to run down sides. Cool in fridge till glaze is set. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Every one will think you worked for hours to create this wonderful desert.
