Ingredients:
1 cup cold cooked black-eyed peas
1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup chopped onions
4 tablespoons water or enough to make stiff batter
Directions:
1. Mix with spoon and drop into hot oil in old cast iron frying pan.
2. Brown on one side and flip to brown on the other.
