1 1/2 cups chicken broth |
1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas |
1 (14 ounce) can cream-style corn |
2 teaspoons minced garlic |
1 teaspoon dried savory, leaves |
1 cup coarsely chopped roasted red pepper |
salt and pepper |
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except peppers, salt, pepper and bacon in a crock pot. 2. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, adding roasted peppers during the last 15 minutes. 3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve topped with bacon. |
