A long time ago, an local ice cream shop made this root beer float with chocolate ice cream. The shop is gone, but the taste remains. Ingredients:
use chocolate crust-see crust page. |
1 1/2 pounds philly cream cheese, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
3 large eggs |
10 ounce milk chocolate, melted & cooled |
1 tea. root beer extract (or 1/2 cup flat root beer) |
1/2 tea. vanilla |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350^. 2. Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. 3. Add eggs one at a time. 4. Fold in milk chocolate 5. Add root beer, vanilla and cream. 6. Pour into prepared pan. 7. Bake at 350^ for 55-65 minutes. 8. Let cool completely and refrigerate before serving. |
