Black Bottom Cupcakes (The Correct Recipe!) |

Rich, creamy, cupcakes topped with just a dusting of powdered sugar are good to go. No frosting necessary! Ingredients:
batter |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup hershey's powdered baking cocoa |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup water |
1/3 cup oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
cream cheese, filling |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 egg |
6 ounces chocolate chips (1/2 bag of chips) |
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients. 2. Mix water, oil and vanilla together. 3. Mix dry and wet ingredients together to make a batter. 4. Blend cream cheese, sugar and egg together. 5. Fill cupcake liners 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Then drop in one heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture into center of batter. 6. Bake at 350 degrees. 7. After cupcakes have cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar across the top of all cupcakes. |
