These are a family favorite, best served warm with a glass of cold milk. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1 egg |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Stir together dry ingredients. 2. In separate bowl, mix liquids together, then add to dry ingredient mixture; mix well. 3. Place in paper-lined muffin tins, filling cups half full. 4. Beat together cream cheese, sugar and egg. 5. Stir in chocolate chips. 6. Drop a spoonful into each muffin cup of batter. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. |
