I found this recipe on a different site a few years ago and love how it makes plain black beans a little more special and a lot more tasty. It is so quick to make and is a great side for your Mexican dishes. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can black beans, undrained |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
salt, to taste |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine beans, onion and garlic and bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and add cilantro, cayenne, and salt. 3. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve. |
