Spicy soup. Can be vegetarian if replacing chix broth with veg broth. Will definately warm you up. Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped |
3 carrots, sliced |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
4 cloves garlic |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1 1/2 tablespoons dried basil |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
32 ounces black beans |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth |
1 1/2 cups cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients (except rice) in crock pot. 2. cook 1 hour. 3. Add rice before serving. |
