A chili that everyone in my house loves, even my kids! I skipped the jalepeno so it didn't get spicey for them. Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef |
2 onions (large) |
4 celery ribs, sliced |
4 garlic cloves |
28 ounces tomatoes |
1 green pepper (large) |
2 jalapeno peppers (i omit because of kids) |
1/4 cup chili powder |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons sugar |
2 teaspoons steak sauce |
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans (rinsed & drained) |
1 (15 ounce) can black beans (rinsed & drained) |
1 cup frozen corn |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger. 2. Add all ingredients except beans & corn. 3. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for about an hour. 4. Add beans & corn. 5. Bring to another boil & simmer 15 min more, until desired consistency. |
