Burgers made from black beans. Vegan Ingredients:
16 oz. black beans, rinsed and drained |
1/2 cups uncooked regular oats |
1/3 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped finely |
1 cloves of garlic, minced |
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped |
1 tbsp applesauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 cup flour |
Directions:
1. Coarsely mash beans with a fork. 2. Combine beans and next 7 ingredients. 3. Shape into 8 patties. 4. Dredge patties in flour. 5. Cook patties in hot oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until each side is lightly browned or bake. 6. Drain on paper towels. |
