Looking to make your own vegetarian burgers? These taste similar to Morningstar's Spicy Black Bean Burgers - mm! Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup green pepper |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
10 oz black beans |
121 g tomato |
1/2 cup grated carrot |
26 g breadcrumbs |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/4 cup egg white |
1/2 cup mushroom |
Directions:
1. Combine incredients and pulse in blender or food processor until desired chunky-ness. 2. Mold into desired sized patties (note: they shrink when they cook) 3. Cook on skillet, in oven, or in microwave. |
