a tasty black bean burger Ingredients:
3/4 cup black beans |
3/4 cup lentils |
2 cloves garlic |
1/2 yellow onion, large |
1 green pepper, medium |
3 tbsp olive oil |
30 crouton |
1/2 cup brown rice |
Directions:
1. soak black beans and lentils overnight in water. 2. boil black beans and lentils in 3 cup water, put in bay leaf. 3. remove bay leaf and drain beans. 4. cook 1/2 cup brown rice, set aside. 5. cook 1 tbsp olive oil, garlic, green pepper, and yellow onion in pan. sautée until onion is translucent. 6. in a food processor, mix all ingredients together. hand press into 6 patties, and cook with olive oil in the same pan you cooked the garlic and green pepper in. 7. Serve and enjoy! |
