Black Bean Burger Patties |

I was inspired by Chilis black bean burgers to create my own at home, using ingredients I always have, along with an 85 cent bag of black beans. Ingredients:
1 tbsp onion, diced |
2 cups black beans |
1 slice (32g) white bread, crumbled |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1 tsp onion powder |
1 tbsp olive oil |
1/2 cup mushrooms, minced |
Directions:
1. Mash black beans with a fork, until beans resemble mashed potatoes. Mix black beans, onion, bread, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil and mushrooms to form a thick mixture. 2. Form into patties approximately 1/2 inch thick and fry in 1 tbsp olive oil. |
