Low-calorie black bean burgers! Ingredients:
2 cups black beans, canned |
1/3 cup chopped fresh kosher dill pickles |
1/3 cup chopped red onions |
2 tablespoons cornmeal |
1 egg white |
2 tablespoons salsa, mild |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425-degrees. Spray baking sheets with vegetable spray. 2. In a food processor, combine black beans, bread crumbs, dill, onions, carrots, cornmeal, egg, garlic and salt. 3. Pulse on and off until well combined. 4. With wet hands, scoop up 1/4 cup of mixture and form into a patty. 5. Put on prepared baking sheet. 6. Repeat procedure for remaining patties. 7. Bake 15 minutes, turning at the halfway point. |
