This recipe comes from Mrs. Fields Cookie Book at the request of a Zaar member Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed |
3/4 cup white sugar |
1 cup salted butter, softened |
3 large eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1 (5 1/4 ounce) cup semisweet chocolate bars, coarsely chopped |
1 (5 1/4 ounce) cup white chocolate baking bar, coarsely chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. 2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. 3. Mix well with a wire whisk; set aside. 4. Blend sugars in a large bowl using an electric mixer set at medium speed. 5. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. 6. Add eggs and vanilla; beat at medium speed until combined. 7. Do Not Overmix! 8. Add the flour mixture and chocolates, and blend at a low speed until just combined. 9. Do Not Overmix! 10. Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2-inches apart. 11. Bake 23 to 25 minutes. 12. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool flat surface upon removal from oven. |
