Ingredients:
8 1/3-inch-thick slices french bread baguette |
butter, room temperature |
freshly ground pepper |
1/2 cup crème fraîche or sour cream |
1 bunch fresh chives, minced |
2 ounces golden caviar |
2 ounces black caviar |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler. Broil bread until one side is toasted, about 1 minute. Spread second side with butter; sprinkle with freshly ground pepper. Broil bread until golden brown, about 2 minutes. 2. Spread crème fraîche over bread slices. Sprinkle chives in diagonal line across center of each. Spoon golden caviar on one side of chives, black on other side and then serve. |
