Bisquick Coffee Cake Revised |

Based on the Bisquick recipe on the box, but with a few changes that we like. Easy to make and great with coffee on the weekends. Ingredients:
2 cups bisquick baking mix |
2 tablespoons sugar |
7/8 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
4 tablespoons butter |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Stir together sugar and baking mix. 2. Add milk, eggs, and vanilla and mix well. 3. Spread into 9x9 pan coated with vegetable oil spray. 4. Place butter and brown sugar into microwave safe cup and heat until mixture looks slushy. . 5. Sprinkle pecans over the cake mix and then sprinkle/spread the butter and brown sugar mixture on top of the pecans. 6. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 7. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before serving. |
