Bisquick Beer-Batter Fish Fry |

This batter always turns out light and fluffy, I also like to add in some cayenne pepper :) Ingredients:
1 cup bisquick |
1/3 cup cornmeal |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
6 ounces beer |
2 lbs fish fillets |
oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. Heat oil to 375 degrees F. 2. Combine dry ingredients; add beer to get a sticky consistency for dipping. 3. Salt fish; dip in batter. 4. Deep fry until fish is golden brown. 5. Note: a thicker cut of fish would be more suitable for this recipe such as Snapper, Walleye White Bass White Perch etc. |
