If your biscuits are turing out like modified rocks, try this new twist – its (almost) foolproof Ingredients:
dry ingredients |
2 cups sifted flour |
4 tp. baking powdr |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/2 tsp. cream of tartat |
2 tsp. sugar |
and |
1/2 cup butter |
2/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients into bowl. 2. Cut in like you do for pie crust the butter… it’s easy to add if you grate it with the coarse side of your cheese grater. 3. Add stirring with fork the milk. 4. Knead gently 10 – 12 stroks…. 5. Bake fpr 12 minutes at 450 F. |
