From Mom's Spiral Recipe Notebook Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup crisco |
2/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients. 2. Cut in the Crisco. 3. Remove 1 cup of this mixture to a small bowl. 4. Blend with milk to form a paste. 5. Stir the paste into the remainder of the dry mix. 6. Knead lightly. 7. Roll out on floured board about 1/2 inch thick. 8. Cut out biscuits. 9. Bake in oven at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
