This is the easiest way to make home style Biscuits and gravy. This recipe makes 6 man sized servings. Ready in 15 minutes Ingredients:
1/2 lb rb rice's hot or medium sausage |
2/3 cup flour |
1 quart of whole milk never use skim |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
12-15 ready to bake biscuits |
Directions:
1. Bake the biscuits per package instructions. 2. While biscuits are baking fry sausage until it is all cooked then blend in the flour to absorb all the grease. 3. Add milk. 4. Keep stirring then add salt, sugar and pepper. 5. Be sure to stir the mixture until it comes to a boil. 6. Lower temperature then keep stirring for 5 minutes then it is ready to serve. 7. Pour over biscuits 8. If you like add hot sauce on top of the gravy |
