Delicious and hearty! Use the reduced fat sausage, milk and biscuits to minimize the damage! :) Recipe can be doubled. Ingredients:
1 lb bulk pork sausage |
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 cup chicken broth |
2 cups milk |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Crumble sausage in large fry pan, brown. 2. Add flour to browned sausage and mix, coating sausage with flour and stir for 2 minutes. 3. Slowly stir in liquids. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4. Simmer over med-low heat, stir often. Done when gravy is thick and bubbley. 5. Serve gravy over your favorite biscuit. |
