Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon sugar |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 cup crisco® shortening |
3/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. 2. Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl. 3. Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mix resembles coarse meal. 4. Add milk all at once and stir until the dough forms a ball around the fork. 5. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead 15 times. 6. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick. 7. Cut into rounds with a 3 cutter. 8. Place about 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. |
