I found this recipe in a newspaper a while ago. This is a great snack to serve while watching the game or for a party. They can be made up to two hours ahead, refrigerated, and baked when company arrives! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
2 tsp brown sugar |
1 - 10 oz can refrigerated biscuits |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 10 muffins cups. 2. Brown beef in large skillet and drain. 3. Stir in barbecue sauce, onion and brown sugar. 4. Cook one minute to blend flavors, stirring constantly. 5. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Place one biscuit in each greased muffin cup. Firmly press in bottom and up sides, forming a 1/4 inch rim. 6. Spoon about 1/4 cup of meat mixture into each biscuit lined cup. 7. Sprinkle each with cheese. 8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges of biscuits are golden brown. 9. Cool one minute and then remove from pan. |
